How long does a whale-watching tour last?

Our whale watching excursion lasts about 3 hours during which you will visit various corners of the Marino Ballena National Park.

What is included in the price of the tour?

The tour includes entrance fees to the national park, boat transportation, guide as well as drinks and snacks, with all local taxes included.

What is the minimum age for tour participants?

All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but all children are welcome without age limit. Children under 3 years of age participate for free, children under 9 pay 50%

What kind of whales can we see?

Costa Rica hosts humpback whales that come here from the Alaskan region and from the south from areas of Patagonia. During this time, cubs are born and learn life under the guidance of their mother, which we can witness.

What language does the tour guide speak?

Our guides speak Spanish and English. On special request, we can arrange a guide speaking French, Polish or Russian. This requires prior reservation and is subject to availability.
